Phishing Alert: Don't click the link to that Google Doc!

What's New

Recipients worldwide today are discovering an extremely sophisticated phishing operation that is targeting people with emails that appear to be legitimate invitations to view Google Docs.

The emails prompt recipients to give access to a third-party app called "Google Docs," which is, to be clear, not the real Google Docs. (The real Google Docs does not need third-party access to your Google account, and will not require permission in this way.) Once the fake app gets access to your Gmail account, it spams all your contacts. See full story on Digg here.
