the owner of the account and not a spammer.

Should you receive this email, simply delete it. If you have already replied to this email, please change your email password immediately, or contact WTC Technical Support and we will assist you. If you have any questions about how to identify email frauds and scams, contact WTC Technical Support.
Remember, WTC will never ask for your account information or password in an unsolicited email. Be wary of any request which asks you to log on to an unfamiliar website and enter your account details. If you have any suspicions, contact WTC Technical Support immediately.

According to internet watchdog group FraudWatch International, most internet fraud attempts can be stopped by a combination of consumer education and diligence. Their top ten tips for protecting your account include:

  • Never click on hyperlinks within emails. Instead, copy and paste them into your browser;
  • Use SPAM filter software;
  • Use anti-virus software;
  • Use a personal firewall;
  • Keep software updated (operating systems and web browsers);
  • Always look for "https://" and padlock on web sites that require personal information;
  • Keep your computer clean from spyware;
  • Educate yourself of fraudulent activity on the internet;
  • Check and monitor your credit report;
